コロイド状プローブAFM法による懸濁液中のカーボンブラック粒子の分散及び凝集の分析

神谷秀博教授の研究成果がAdvanced Powder Technology (Volume 24, Issue 5, Pages 844 – 851)、2013年3月13日からオンラインに見れます。

本研究の目的はナノ粒子又は液体界面状態のカーボンブラック(CB)にポリマー分散剤の役割を明確化について研究していました。コロイドプローブAFMは、分散剤の吸着構造と粒子表面との相互作用を評価していました。

様々の分析は、高分子分散剤の役割を明確にするために実施しました。

本研究は、CBナノ粒子は効果的に懸濁中のカチオン性ポリマー分散剤を添加することによってCB ナノ粒子が効果的に分散したと結論付けしました。

Analysis of dispersion and aggregation behavior of carbon black particle in aqueous suspension by colloid probe AFM method.

Research from the group of Prof. Hidehiro Kamiya had been published in Advanced Powder Technology (Volume 24, Issue 5, Pages 844 -851) and available online from March 13, 2013.

This research is about clarifying the role of polymer dispersants at the black carbon (CB) nano-particle/liquid interface. Colloid probe AFM was used to evaluate the adsorbed structure of the dispersants and the  interactions between particle surfaces.

Various analysis was conducted to clarify the polymer dispersants role. The analysis was synthesis of PEI functionalized with toluoyl group (T-PEI), suspension behavior, and etc.

This research conclude that the CB nanoparticle were effectively dispersed with the addition of a cationic polymeric dispersants in aqueous suspension.
